This page is to help you to find a suitable venue. There is lots of information in the venues like what species you are likely to catch, local tackle shops, What time high water is and how fast the tide run can get, are there any toilets, and where you can get snacks & food

Bait section
in this section you will find a little information about some of the baits that we use, and some which are over looked as baits. And I will try and help you cut the cost of your bait by giving you a little information on how you can go and get you’re own bait

Fishing rigs
In this section we have put together some of the most commonly used rigs that we use off the kayak. Some rigs may work better than others at times, this can be down to tide flow tangling the rigs or it could be the snoods on the rig are to short/long or the hooks are too big /small for the species you are trying to catch.
Anchoring
Here is one or two ways to deploy and retrieve an anchor when you are fishing of a kayak. For this instant we will be using an anchor trolley that goes from stern to bow there is other methods

Repairing a broken paddle blade
After recently breaking a blade in some big surf I made some enquiries on how to replace a broken blade the lads from brookbanks gave me some good advice. This repair was done on my lendal paddle

Rigging out your kayak for fishing.
In this section, you can benefit by seeing how other kayak fishermen have modified their kayaks to their own needs. With storage solutions, fitting a fishfinder, GPS, fitting rod holders and anchor trolleys.

Weather sites
This section let you link to a number of weather forecasting sites that will give you a weather forecast for up to 14 days ahead, temperature, feels like with the wind, wind speed, gust, direction

Re-entry videos
The videos in this section will show you some re-entry technique, we made them as a guide to getting back on your sit on top kayak and helping others to get back on too. the side re-entry is the most effective way of getting back

Assisted re-entry videos
It surprising how many people can’t do a solo re-entry either they have never tried or they are not physical enough or just can’t master the technique this is why we put together some assisted re-entry videos to help you out.

Fitting out you and your kayak
There is a lot to take in to account when we start to spend our money, like the things we are going to need to carry on the kayak, what clothing are we going to need, and what safety equipment are we going to take out with us

Tope fishing video
This video was taken when some of us went to tywyn in mid Wales in late September 2008 for the weekend 4 of us fished for the tope on that day and we all had some go run resulting in 6 tope

Then the rod tip started to bend and didn’t stop. I stuck into the fish and at first I thought it was another small one, as the fish started to come up with not much effort, but without warning it dove to the bottom stripping the line off my reel from that point on it was like trying to raise the Titanic, when I realised this was bigger than I first thought ....more
