There is little specific equipment designed to be used from kayaks at present, but nosing around unlikely places like DIY stores and household goods suppliers like Wilkinsons can pay dividends    .
Obviously some tuition may be needed to fully understand the use of a compass but most boat chandlers will gladly and freely offer you advice    .
Your main choices for three seasons fishing revolve around a full Drysuit at around £200 -  £300 or a Dry Top or Dry Cag over waders or dry pants    .
